Our Story

We are a family run distillery based in a small village in Leicestershire.

Our journey started with visits to craft distilleries spanning from Cornwall in the south west to the Scottish Outer Hebrides in the north.

Inspired by their passion and skill we decided to embark on our own journey with Driftwood Gin.

Our Distillery started with a 2L copper still, called Winnie, where we started to experiment in small batches with various different flavours. She was soon accompanied by another 2L copper still, called Lily. We have progressed from the 2L stills to a 40L copper still ,called Iris. This still is where we do all of our production. Whilst Iris is working hard making our finished gins, Winnie and Lily are always working on new flavours.

Whilst we were experimenting with the different flavors we decided to make our own spirit to make our gin with. This gives us the opportunity to make sure that every step of our gin making process is up to the premium quality we aspire to deliver.

We have 2X 25L reflux stills that we make our spirit with which are called Reginald and Stafford. They are partnered with our 500L fermentor where the spirit is made, called Mildred.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best tasting product with a personal touch. Each of our gins is “Full of Family Spirit”.
